This is the background that I decided to create my own plugin invite friend. Seeing the API Guide Book for CB plugins, then the plugin was born, CB Simple Invitation. Simple because this plugin does not need a database at all and very easy to use:) Supported with JQuery for AJAX, so the plugin makes it light and sweet in its use.

The installation process:
1. Download first CB Plugin Simple Invitation, now hosted in Joomlapolis!
2. Upload ZIP files from “Install Plugin” CB Panel
3. Publish CB Plugin Simple Invitation from “Plugin Management”
4. Go to “Tab Management” and the settings for Email Subject and Content!
5. Remember! Content is email support HTML Tags. All email invitation is HTML Email!
6. Just that! now you can see live in your CB profile

There’s a little different about public version and TEXT2IMAGE.CO.NR version. Public version doesn’t have sidebar and session save options. But anyway, you can still get this all functions :

1. Font type (True Type)
2. Font height (point)
3. Font color (including color picker)
4. Text Shadow
5. Background color (including color picker)
6. Transparent background
7. Image border
8. Border color (including color picker)
9. Image width
10. Characters remaining counter
11. Statistic for generated images
12. Transfer image to ImageShack.Us in AJAX realm!

It’s so easy to install it. First make sure your hosting support cURL to transfer image to ImageShack.Us. Second, follow this instructions.

1. Upload whole script using FTP
2. CHMOD “temp” folder and “php/counter.txt” to 777
3. You’re DONE!!

You can add more fonts by upload them to “fonts” folder. Be carefull, some UNIX server can’t recognize font with “TTF” extension, you must change them into “ttf“. Change watermark image with yours, please pay attention to dimension. Try to create your watermark with 80×15 pixel

Update note :
You can show links list without widget, just add this code into your themes, not post/page textarea! Anyway you can do it if you have execPHP plugin installed in your WordPress

But now it’s Web 2.0! AJAX in everywhere. So let’s create a simple AJAX Captcha to accomodate this. First searched for Google and found it, there’s enough resource to make a improvisation with this stuff (How to Create CAPTCHA Protection using PHP and AJAX and FunkyAJAX). I tried at home but no one of them have a complete feature but still simple So i combine all resource and build this one, simple but have a full feature that i wanted!

You can check DEMO to get transparent on this. I’ve included AJAX Captcha to avoid a high resource consumed (server).

Universal AJAX Link Checker

First, build a simple form with textarea, single input user, img tag, and of course submit button (you can pass this).

This form also work if you just press ENTER instead click submit button. So now the javascript code. Basically it’s using XMLHttpRequest like ordinary AJAX Post/Get but we also send a session from image from Captcha. I’ve added this line into var getstr.

txtCaptcha is ID being used for Captcha input user . So we need to Captcha change dynamically when AJAX response is return. We need this code. Add to javascript in condition if (http_request.status == 200).

There’s already information about code above. Session is create by create_image.php itself. For more sophiscated we need to change image when user click on it (if user can’t read Captcha) of course with AJAX. Add this little bit code.

Now look for create_image.php, it’s common php generate Captcha with session_start() function and $_SESSION["name_session"]. You can download all source code in the end of this posting.

So what’s the different in both of them? Look same? The different is first example is true format and the second is wrong format. Notice it doesn’t have letter “i” in domain. Really good trap right? And to make more vanish, they using short url like lix.in or tinyurl. Now we will using online application to avoid this and check your status links, all in single step

So i choose GET action to send data to server and send back to client. It will check any input tag like checkbox, radio, or select option dropdown condition. Example if checbox was checked so it will send to server but if not, it will not send to server. So is this only work in input tag? how about textarea? It will work on all part of form as long you defined ID so AJAX can handled it and define in AJAX script what ID must be send to server.

Basic script come from here. I just added textarea to be process in this AJAX. Also added status when loading process So this my improved code.
